About Queen Valley
Queen Valley is an unincorporated census-designated place in north-central Pinal County, at about 2,000 feet. It grew up around the Queen Valley Golf Course, an 18-hole course established in 1963 on a former palm tree plantation. Queen Creek runs along the north side of the community, the Superstition Mountains rise to the north and northwest, and the Tonto National Forest boundary is about a mile and a half to the east.
Queen Valley's population grew from 788 in 2010 to 967 in 2020. At the 2000 Census, the median age was 65 and nearly half of residents were 65 or older.
Nearby, Boyce Thompson Arboretum, founded in 1924, sits on US 60 about three miles west of Superior. Scott also serves Gold Canyon, Florence and Superior. See the Gold Canyon page. See the Florence page.
What Queen Valley homeowners call about
Queen Valley is a small, quiet community with an older population. That shapes the work:
- Rekeys before and after the season: if you leave for the summer or hand keys to a neighbor or caretaker, a rekey means only the keys you give out will work. More on rekeying and home locks.
- Worn locks: desert sun and dust are hard on exterior locks. Scott repairs what's worth keeping and replaces what isn't, including deadbolts, handlesets and keypad locks.
- Manufactured homes and outbuildings: Scott rekeys, repairs and replaces locks on manufactured homes, sheds and garages.
- Keypad and smart locks: a code you can change from a distance is handy when you're away part of the year.
- Safes: opening a safe when the combination is lost or the keypad dies, replacing safe locks, and moving safes. More on safe services.
- New owners: after you buy, a rekey makes sure keys from the previous owner, agents and caretakers no longer work.
