Common Questions

Should I rekey or replace my locks?

If your locks work and you just need old keys to stop working, rekeying changes the inside of the lock so new keys work and old ones don't. If a lock is worn, damaged or you want different hardware, replacement makes more sense. Scott will tell you which fits your situation.

Should I rekey after buying a house?

Yes, it's a good idea. Previous owners, builders, contractors and neighbors may still have keys. Rekeying makes all of those keys useless.

Do you install smart locks?

Yes. Scott installs smart locks.

Do you copy house keys?

Yes. Scott copies house and business keys. He doesn't make car keys.

Is the work guaranteed?

Yes. All labor is guaranteed for 90 days after the job is complete.
